Common Questions
Does this actively check my tenant's health in real time?
No. Despite the name, this is a self-reported questionnaire, not a live tenant connection or health scan — it does not connect to Entra ID, Microsoft Graph, or any Microsoft API. You answer based on what you already know about your tenant's licensing, sync status, and directory hygiene.
How is this different from the Identity & MFA Readiness Assessment?
The Identity & MFA Readiness Assessment covers authentication and access policy broadly. This assessment is specific to Entra ID tenant health — licensing alignment, hybrid sync, and directory hygiene — a different, more platform-specific dimension.
Do we need hybrid identity (on-premises AD) for this assessment to be relevant?
The licensing and directory-hygiene sections apply to any tenant, cloud-only or hybrid. The hybrid sync health section is only relevant if you run Entra Connect with an on-premises Active Directory.
